I love whole foods, cooking from scratch and trying new flavors. I'll eat just about anything but I love vegan/vegetarian fare. I avoid most processed food. I love to try new recipes (especially dairy-free treats for my son). My son, Alex is five years-old and is allergic to dairy, peas and lentils and peanuts.

I'm currently living in the greater Detroit area but we purchased land on the Leelanau pennisula this past fall. We're getting ready to start building this spring. I'm really looking forward to building my dream home and kitchen. And most of all I'm looking forward to our move up north. Not only is the Traverse City region the most beautiful place in the state but a great place for a foodie!
