I've had a bunch of different careers, and have a crazy educational background. But I've always been, as my daughter says, "obsessed by food." Let's fast forward to right now. I live in Charlevoix, indulge my passion for food by owning and operating the Alcove Cafe, and by participating in a family tradition: Sunday dinner. All family members in the area bring food without much in the way of coordination, and we see what happens. My cousin Micki does most of the "main dish" cooking now that I'm occupied 24x7 with the restaurant, and once in awhile we do a theme (Thai, all of the superfoods, Mexican, apples, pizzas, raviolis, ...) It's a riot.
