Wagbo Farm and Education Ctr.

We are a Farm and Education Center on 212 acres of forest and field overlooking the Jordan River Valley in East Jordan, Michigan. Events vary with whoever wants to host one, and most are outdoor oriented. Included are Maple Sugaring, Wild Edibles Forays, Fiber Arts Skillshares, Mushroom Hikes, Bird Watching strolls, Lacto-fermentation, Home brewing events and more! Feel free to come to our Potlucks the 1st Friday of each month, and afterword is a pre-scheduled event or discussion.

Spring Harvest Festival

Sunday, May 23rd, 1-5 pm
Presented by a partnership of ISLAND, the Martha Wagbo Farm and Education Centerand the Grass River Natural Area

Celebrate the bounty of spring! Come participate in spring-related workshops such as mushroom hunting, wild edibles, wild medicinals, mead-making, and more! Browse our vendors selling local spring-time products. Come away with an increased knowledge of our local ecology, and renewed appreciation for the spring season!

8th Annual Maple Syrup Festival

Join us at the Wagbo Farm on March 27 for our annual family event to celebrate Maple Syrup!

Maple Syrup Family Field Day

Come out to the Wagbo Farm for a fun and educational tour of the world of maple syrup! Learn how to tap trees, boil syrup in your own backyard, and operate a large-scale commercial evaporator. There will be separate children's activities, including a short hike, storytelling, and puppet shows. Wagbo will be serving hot beverages, soup, and snacks. Please come dressed for the weather, as this event will be mostly outdoors!
