Tastes opens at GT Commons

The Village at Grand Traverse Commons recently welcomed TASTES, a tasting room from Black Star Farms with a twist.

TASTES is a typical tasting room featuring all the wines, dessert wines, and spirits in the Black Star portfolio. Step up to the bar, buy your glass - $3/person or $5/couple - and taste a flight of 5 wines of your choice from the tasting menu. You may also sample two reserve wines and brandies for an additional $5. Whenever you return with your glass - either to TASTES or to Black Star Farms tasting room in Suttons Bay - you'll taste without charge. TASTES is open Tuesday-Saturday from 2-9pm.

At 5 p.m. in the Arcturos Lounge area, TASTES begins offering small plates - savory or sweet - each paired with two samples of wine, dessert wine or brandy that they feel are most compatible with the dish. The food is sourced from local artisans, some of whom are Village neighbors, including Silvertree Deli, Underground Cheesecake Co., and Pleasanton Brickoven Bakery.
