Peaches Galore

We found a wonderful new source for peaches just down the road, and ended up with the best peach jam ever.

Along with the jam, we did quarts of sliced peaches, and 100+ jars of peach chutney. Check out the chutney recipe. And better yet, make sure to visit Creighton Gallagher's road-side stand out in Leelanau County. You'll find it on Lincoln Road, just west of Bugai (aka 616). Where's that? Just drive to the big windmill on 72, head north a couple miles to Lincoln, and turn left. It'll be the second house on the left. But hurry! I hear the peaches are almost done.
