Ice Cream: A Local and a Michigan Thing

Ice cream just keeps popping up this week. And that's not a bad thing!

I just discovered Shetler Family Dairy's new ice cream at Leelanau Produce, and it's yummy. I tried the Chocolate Peanut Butter and Mint n' Chip, two of my all-time favorite combinations. According to Shetler's web site, they have 11 flavors currently available at the Farm Store, and all made with milk from their own cows, free of antibiotics and hormones.

And here's a bit of trivia for you. Did you know that Superman ice cream is "A Michigan Thing"?
