Creating Michigan Culinary Destinations
Next week, culinary tourism leaders from around Michigan will gather in E. Lansing for "Creating Michigan Culinary Destinations: Michigan's First Conference on Culinary Tourism." Will YOU be in attendance?
This inaugural conference is "SOLD OUT" at about 200 attendees and presenters.
This conference will bring people together to:
- Facilitate networking among people from diverse roles within Michigan's culinary and tourism communities.
- Initiate specific plans and projects based on participants' interests to enhance culinary tourism in Michigan.
- Celebrate Michigan's many culinary tourism assets.
Video from key presentations will be available online by February 1 at www.MichiganWines.com.
Creating Michigan Culinary Destinations was planned by members of the Michigan Culinary Tourism Alliance, a new organization to promote the growth and development of Michigan culinary experiences. Founding members of the Alliance are listed at www.michiganwines.com/CulinaryTourism. Meetings are held quarterly and are open to anyone who wishes to attend. Please contact Sherri Goodreau at GoodreauS@michigan.gov if you would like to receive notification of future meetings.
